Once upon a time in a haunted Los Angeles elementary school, there was a ghost named Nothing. Nothing wasn’t his real name. His name was Carl, but now he goes by the nickname the kids gave him when he was among the living kids who attended the school.

The school was black and white, and the inside was filled with spider webs. Nothing (the ghost that is) scared the janitorial crew away, so there was no one left to dust. And since there was no one to clean the windows or change light bulbs, they went ahead and boarded the windows up, and the kids went to school in the dark.

The kids at the elementary school were scared, the halls were filled with screeching sounds during the day, but no parents believed that the school was really haunted. It may have looked haunted, but no adults believed there were such things as ghosts.

The kids were pretty miserable at their school, but they had no idea how bad it could actually get until the day their parents disappeared. The school day ended, and when the students left their classrooms, there was literally nobody to pick them up. No buses came. No parents came. Nobody was there and it was all Nothing’s doing: his big revenge.

You see, Nothing turned to his ghoulish form when the teacher accidentally cut him and not his sandwich. Though that teacher had left the school (to go to prison, of course), Nothing still haunted the school because he actually really liked school!

Like we said, his real name was Carl and he was a really good student, and he wanted to learn, and because he was so good in school his classmates were mean; they called him Nothing because they said he was “nothing.”

Nothing eventually wanted to get revenge on everyone who bullied him, so Nothing made all their parents disappear. Poof, just like that!

As all the kids panicked in the halls, two students snuck off to talk. One of the students, Emma, could shoot ice out of her hands. The other Alex, who also had powers, could control fire (which nearly got him kicked out of school when he accidentally lit it on fire).

Emma and Alex looked at each other, and they were not afraid of Nothing.

But they didn’t want to use their powers out in the open. However, they still had the opportunity to save the school.

Emma decided that she wanted to use her ice to trap the ghost so they snuck up to the attic where Nothing lives, and it worked! They trapped Nothing, but only for a moment. Nothing was very strong, and she forgot that ghosts could go through walls. After Emma put him in ice, Nothing floated right through, breaking the ice.

Then….
